Opportunity is all around us, but it's a skill to recognize when those moments are staring us right in the face.
In a very general sense, young people often lack the perspective to recognize those moments and older people can tend to be too jaded by the system to jump at the opportunity.
But you, YOU are different!
You crave the chance to change your life, but maybe you just need to hone that skill.
The first step is to recognize that literally EVERYTHING can be transformed into a beneficial situation if you stop and take inventory of what's going on around you.
When you pay attention, lack of opportunity is not the problem...
...you'll probably find the REAL problem is your willingness to do what it takes to maximize the chance in front of you.
OUCH. The first time I heard this it was a smack upside the head, because I knew it was the truth.
When we're young there is SO MUCH to choose from. We can literally do ANYTHING. But the longer we take to take advantage, the harder it becomes to capitalize.
We have more "responsibility," more negative experiences to jade our perspective, less time for our own dreams and goals.
The chances for opportunity aren't less available, we are just less flexible in our willingness to commit.
Today I challenge you to say YES to something. So what if it doesn't work out!! What if it does?! I promise you'll learn more from saying yes and failing, then saying no and regretting not taking the chance.
